When in Team in Training, each team gets an Honored Teammate, a person who is or has been diagnosed with Leukemia or Lymphoma. My Honored Teammate, Laura, relapsed during my first season. To show her our support and love, I designed a wristband the team could wear and think about her wherever we were. Profits go back to The Leukemia and Lymphoma society.
To support the wristband, I created the I train for Laura website. It has her story, a gallery of her and other participants, a buy page for the wristbands and more. I worked with a fellow teammate to get her story, photos, and the copy for the site.
